Wine is great and all but we also have to talk BEER!

The Hill Country features a variety of breweries, big and small, with all different styles from German classics to hoppy delights. Want to explore the rolling hills and enjoy some brews? Check out the breweries in Fredericksburg, Blanco, or Seguin!

New Braunfels holds of our three of our favorite breweries including Faust Brewing Company, Five Stones Artisan Brewery, and Guadalupe Brewing Company.

Faust brewery is located in the historical Faust Hotel built in 1929, located in the center of downtown New Braunfels. They offer unique, must try brews. Maybe you’ve had their Orange Honey Wheat, as your dollar check-in beer here at MQ!

Five Stones has it all: craft beer, coffee bar, and really good eats. Check out their awesome label art. My all-time favorite Five Stones’ brew is Shepard Boy Pale Ale- it is a must try!

Guadalupe Brewing has lots of (dog friendly!!) outdoor seating, live music, and a humongous assortment of craft beers!

Another close by favorite is AquaBrew, who brews their beer directly onsite, in the heart of downtown San Marcos, about 25 minutes from Mystic Quarry! They feature a variety of beer for all tastes, if you like hops you need to try Swine Dive, if a  wheat beer is more your style Ape-ri-cot Wheat is delish! We carry a variety of their beers at MQ, so you can make a mix-n-match pack to give it a try!
